Dr. Annie Kim is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gynecologic surgeon who founded her practice with a clear and straightforward mission: to put you in the driver's seat of your care.
A Different Approach to Your Care
After completing her medical training, Dr. Kim gained invaluable experience in busy, high-volume group practices. She saw firsthand how the pressure to see more patients often meant less time to connect with and counsel them. This experience fueled her conviction to build a different kind of practice. At Kim Gyn, the focus is you.
Dr. Kim intentionally designed her independent practice to rise above the rushed feel of traditional healthcare. She believes that successfully treating complex conditions requires not only surgical excellence but also a deep sense of trust and a genuine understanding of who you are and what matters most to you. Whether your priority is preserving fertility, achieving the fastest recovery, or securing definitive relief from debilitating pain, it is this partnership, built on unhurried conversation and active listening, that ensures your care aligns perfectly with your personal life goals.
As Dr. Kim's patient, you will have every opportunity to thoroughly explore your condition, understand all non-surgical and surgical options, and feel confident and empowered in your healthcare decisions. In addtion to surgery, she also provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including the evaluation of abnormal pap smears, contraception options, and management of sexually transmitted infections.
Academic Excellence
Dr. Kim's commitment to providing an elite level of care is built on a foundation of academic achievement at top-20 institutions, including the University of Notre Dame and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
She completed her internship at UCLA, her residency at McGovern Medical School – University of Texas, Houston, and a two-year AAGL fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is affiliated with Northwell Health and operates at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH) and Lenox Hill Hospital.

Personal Life
Outside of her commitment to medicine, Dr. Kim resides in Brooklyn with her husband and their French Bulldog. She finds balance and recharges by spending quality time with family and friends, and she loves to explore new cultures and cuisines through travel whenever the opportunity arises.
