Insurance
At Kim Gyn, we accept insurance as an out-of-network provider. The majority of patients utilize their out-of-network benefits offered by their plans to be reimbursed for all or part of the cost of their care. Our billing team will work with you and your insurance company to help you understand your insurance benefits, minimize your out-of-pocket expenses, and submit claims on your behalf. We’ll make sure you have a clear picture of your out-of-pocket costs before moving forward with any care.

Office visit fees may vary for established and new patients and are based on the type of visit. Payment is due at the time of your care.
Surgical Interventions
Surgical billing is comprehensive and tailored to each case.
- Detailed estimate of your potential financial responsibility is determined. Payment options are discussed before surgery is scheduled.
- Our billing team will make every effort to negotiate with your insurance company to help secure the highest possible coverage.
What does “out-of-network” mean?
Being “out-of-network” means that while we are not contracted with insurance companies, we do accept insurance and will submit claims to your insurer on your behalf. Instead of billing your insurance directly at negotiated in-network rates, you pay our office for services, and your insurance company will process the claim based on your out-of-network benefits. Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed for a portion of the visit or procedure.
We’ve chosen to operate outside traditional insurance networks so we can deliver truly patient-centered care. Rather than a typical 15-minute visit with a clinic provider, you will always meet with Dr. Kim to develop a personalized care plan tailored to your unique needs and goals. Although “out-of-network” may be new to some, we prioritize delivering attentive care that centers on your experience without compromise.
Our specialization in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery means Dr. Kim has significantly more experience with your specific condition than general OB/GYNs. Many of her patients have visited a number of different in-network providers before coming to her and finally finding relief from symptoms. Dr. Kim’s specialized training means:
